Learn to read notes one at a time through repetition. Each section adds an additional note. Move on to next sections only when you get comfortable reading the current section.

Navigation
	Menu — site navigation: home, account, courses, downloads.
	Search — find any lesson by title across all courses.
	Lesson browser — slide-out panel listing every lesson in this course.

Playback
	Play / Pause — also toggled with the `Space` bar.
♩	Tempo — − and + buttons adjust playback speed in 5 BPM steps.
−/+	Speed % (video lessons) — drop-down to slow the video without changing pitch.
Vol	Volume — slider controls notation/backing-track audio level.
	Mute — silence the notation audio without stopping playback. Does not affect the metronome.
	Metronome — standalone click track at the current BPM. Works independently of playback: use it to read along without playing the score, or keep it on during playback for a synced click.
↻	Loop — drag across notation bars to set a loop region; the badge shows the active range. Click ✕ to clear.
Notation
	Zoom — make the notation larger or smaller.
Tab	Tab toggle — show or hide the tablature row beneath the standard notation.
🎵	Audio source — switch between the Backing Track (real audio) and MIDI Synth (synthesised notes).

	Instructions — lesson notes and practice tips.
	Scale diagrams — fretboard scale charts for this lesson.
	Chord diagrams — chord shapes used in this lesson.
	Downloads — supplemental files for this lesson.
	Tuner — chromatic guitar tuner (requires microphone access).
Other
	Ensemble sync — play together on multiple devices in real time. One device is the Conductor (controls playback); others join as Followers.
	Fullscreen — expand the notation to fill the screen. Press `Esc` to exit.
	Theme — toggle between light and dark mode.
